Laguna Seca is a world famous racetrack for bike and car motorsport which I didn’t even realise was in California until Gilly the Lonely Planet geek asked if I had ever heard of it, to which I replied: heard of it? I’ve driven it a hunred times (on Gran Turismo that is)
Anyway, I would like to dedicate this short postng to my good friend James Eaglesham, another armchair conoisseur of this track. And, here sir is our favourite steep corner, the corkscrew.
There were no races on the day we were there and unsurprisingly they wouldn’t let us take the Chrysler Sebring automatic convertible rental on the track.
